hey i was wondering if any of you have ever experienced a hesitation in the gas pedal
before it actually goes, it creaks for a few inches before it gets to the gas like there is a space where it is really easy to push down.
does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

The cable between the gas pedal and the cruise control cylinder has stretched... You can have some fun and try and adjust it from the gas pedal side (lots of hanging upside down and swearing) or you can adjust it from the cruise control side but looking in the drivers side of the engine bay, looking for a black quadrangular box (or it might be pentagonal... Just not square) with 3 "pipes" going into it (it's just the hard covers for the throttle cable)... There should be a screw that will allow you to lift the lid off and you can tighten the cables from there.

Most likely the cable just needs adjusted up on the plenum.
