97 blazer 4x4 Hi issue

Hi Guys & Gals....I sure that this topic came up before but I can't seem to find it. Heres the problem....My 2WD works fine and the 4x4 low works but when I push the 4x4 Hi botton it just flashes or does not do anything...it was working fine. So when you push the botton nothing happens....what the problem?

go in to a grassy area put it in to 4low hit the gas and see if the frount tires are spining if not it probly if the frount axel not ingageing

i'm having the same problem and i know the front tires are spinning from driving in the snow this winter.

i've tried reseting the computer by disconnecting the battery terminal for bout a half hour, and it work'd fine for about a hour after i did it went into 4w-hi w/o any problems and drove fine.
but when i took it out of 4w-hi and tried to put it back into 4w the light just flash'd and stayed in 2wd.
i'm at a lost now


dont mean to hi-jack a tread but having the same problem with my 97 blazer
