Engine Hop

I was wondering if a solution to this is repair the rubber engine mounts. I have a 92 civic and the rubber mounts at the lower front of the engine seem to be worn out. Is it true that I can use high quality silicon and fill in the mounts? I am guessing that it would probably be easier just to replace the rubber mounts entirely. Thank you for your time.

Doing this will greatly reduce wheel hop. Although I would suggest just getting the Prothane inserts, and just doing it correctly.

That's my advice, good luck with it.

i did it.. but not on an important mount... i want to do it to my rear transmission mount....

it took a while to dry, like 4 days to harden just a lil, the inside was still gooey. i tested it by sticking a sewing needle in it, kinda like you have to use a toothpick with brownies or cake. so next time i do it, im going to do layers.. do one, let it dry, do the second let it dry...you kno
