help me please ...

I dont know alot about cars :eek: ... but i do know that when my car cuts out when im driving that its bad!!! My parents bought me an automatic 2002 lancer last july and i was able to drive it in september. It was checked out by the RAC and was given the all clear apart from some minor things needing replacing and a faulty immobiliser. After two months of it driving magnificantly all of a sudden it started conking out whilst i was driving it. The engine light comeson and it just dies. If im travelling at a decent speed of around 50 + the engine light flashes it halts but it keeps driving and the light goes off. At first we thought it may be because of the faulty immobilser ... but i got that replaced. Then we took it to be serviced at our local mitsubishi dealer and they reported no problems, but it still does it. I am completely comfused :screwy: and if anyone out there can help me ... it would be awesome ... cheerz ... Raya
