Can anybody tell me what i would need to buy to do a complete engine swap in my 99 cavalier, and if you know any websites to purchase these items from or websites to research this stuff on?

first off... whats wrong with your engine... if you just wanted a bigger engine... for less money just go to a shop and ask them to boar out your pistons from a 2.2 to a 2.6 thats what i did for my 98 cavalier... and its fast as heck.... i dont know if i can swear on the forum... anyways, if you have any more questions feel free to ask me.. i check it every day cause im looking for a turbo... if you know someone selling one tell me in my thread.. NEED T25 TURBO.... thanks

Now someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a little bit insane to try and turbo a car that has been boared from a 2.2 to a 2.6, the cylinder walls would be so thin I'd be afraid of it exploding under boost.

truthfully i really dont know.... if to guess i think anywhere from 400-800 dollars.... i did it myself at my friends place who his dad owns national cycle where they produce bmw motorcycle things.... so we have like unlimited tools... but be careful because the space between the piston and the walls would be so small... i used a copper plating in between the walls which i also used on my turbo so nothing would happen... but yea im sorry i really dont know the exact amount, but like i said if i had to guess, i think it would be around 4-800$.... hope that helped a little... search it on google.... lol...
