custom grille

I was thinking about making an grille for my 87 like this one.

Anyone know where I could get the parts to make one? I'm sure he put the SS emblem on himself, but is that plain black grille available anywhere?

i think they have them on ebay, try taking a look

If not on ebay, it looks like it'd be pretty easy to make one. Just cut out the grid leaving only the chrome frame, and put a steel screen or mesh painted flat black in the place of the grid, and then glue on an SS sign. I might actually try something like that, I have 3 spare grilles in the rafters in my garage. Maybe when the weather warms up a little.

Its not off a monte. A monte grill won't fit onto the front end of a Caprice. But it does give it the "Monte" look.
