All I can say is that it sounds amazing. I wished I had a way to record it and post it for you guys to hear. Stupid slow Internet and no digital recorder, lol.

Anyways, I'm talking about my motor. To get everyone up to speed, it has:

-13.5:1 compression
-4340 Forged Steel Crank and Rods (Scat brand, and the rods are 6 inch H-beam design)
-Mahle Forged allum., coated dome pistons
-.660 inch lift roller cam with over 300 degrees of duration.
-double roller timing set
-Pro cast iron heads, 2.08/1.6 valves, K-Motion springs, ported to the max, Proform 1.6 roller rockers, Crane Cams roller lifters
-Edelbroc Victor Jr. allum. intake, port matched to the heads
-Hooker Super Competition headers
-Proform 750 cfm racing series carb.
-Proform 35 GPM electric water pump

That covers the basics. The engine was built by Hi-Tech Racing engines( http://www.hitechracingengines.com), and while it wasn't dynoed, the shop owner said it should make close to 600 hp at the flywheel.

It sounds awesome. It revs fast (just touch the throttle and it revs to 4 grand). It looks great, lol. I'm going to take some pictures of it tomorrow and post up. Looks pertiful lol, nice and painted and cleaned up.

If nothing changes, I intend on taking it to a track this weekend. So we'll know for sure what its going to do next Saturday. I'm pretty excited to see what its going to do. If it runs as good as it sounds, I should be in for a pretty good ride!

Either way, I'm now officially strokin', 383 style! :evillol:

Some Pictures. And yeah, I'm going to be running 112 octane this year (blue race fuel, it was $6.75 a gallon two weeks ago :banghead: ).
