I'm sure you guys get this a lot, but I know there are a lot of people wondering the same thing I am. Can you put a manual trans in a 3800 FWD? I have a 2000 GP GT and I am expecting to be around 300hp before this summer. I know my trans wont hold up, so when it goes I want a stick. Does any one know how to (or know anyone who has) put a stick in a 3800 FWD. If so what trans would I use, what parts would I need and how would I do it? THANKS in advance for all the responces.

You would probably be better off having your auto rebuilt and modified. The time and effort would IMO far outweigh any reason to put one in. Beside the swapover, you have the clutch pedal to figure out putting in the car. You would have to completely fabricate or find some way to put one in from some other car. You also have to fabricate a clutch m/c mount.
