Hey guys, its been awhile but im back! I see alot of things have changed around here! For the people that remember me let me fill you in on my car. Mid august 05 my motor blew up.. So I had to upgrade to a 6bolt sooner than planned, I had everything machined and ported added some new toys, but now I am looking for a tuner! It is tuned now but I want to have it fine tuned before I head to the track in may, and I dont know who to trust with my baby! Anyone know of any GOOD tuners in minnesta or surrounding states?

Here is the list (as of now :naughty: ):
K&N filter W/adapter plate, VRS 3” turbo back exhaust w/ ported O2 housing, Autometer triple gauge pillar pod (w/ EGT, AF & boost gauges), Fuel Injector Clinic (FIC) 650cc Fuel injectors, Walbro 190lph fuel pump and rewire, Apexi S-AFC II, GReddy type S BOV, SBR big FMIC, GReddy Profec B boost controller, Accel 8.5mm Wires, NGK BPR7ES spark plugs, Evo III 16G turbo with 34mm flapper, Ported exhaust manifold, ACT 2100lb clutch, 1G throttle body, 1G ported intake manifold, Manual 1G turbo Cams, Strut Bar, Short throw shifter.
When the engine was built/rebuilt I got the following done: Bore Cylinders .5 mm, 2G pistons, 1G reconditioned rods, New 2G rings, new Oil Cooler, new Water Pump, Valve job, Polish Crank, Torque plate honed, Machine engine block, ARP head studs.

Hey man good to see you back. I was just wondering like yesterday about who had that girl on their car in their sig.

Theres actually quite a few of us MN dsmers here, I'm up north.

I'd go to AMS. I know its quite the hike, but thats just me.

EDIT: That purple car in my sig came out of Maplewood (I think) on Wednesday.

DB Performance is a very good source for getting your car tuned Joel. You could try LSE also. They just got a brand new AWD dyno and it is nice as hell. "Baddest AWD dyno in North America." Supports 2700whp. :D

Yeah... DB Performance is in Rogers MN. Shane (co-owner) is the DSM tuner there, also does many other cars but is probably the best DSM tuner in the state of MN. He is a very good guy and a personal friend of mine. The boys at LSE are also very nice guys. They are located in Maple Grove. Josh (co-owner) is a good friend of mine also. They just got the dyno in last thursday and have gone through a couple courses in tuning just about any car there is. Very knowledgable guys. I'll let you all know when I find out how much rates are.

LSE is having an open house April 29th. That is a saturday. They might allow some cars on the dyno, we'll see. I'm going to try to get my car on it that day just for the hell of it. As of right now it's just an open house/BBQ.

Dyno rates are as follows for LSE:

$150/hr for LSE tuning, 2+ hours booked
$120/hr for rental/ you tuning, 2+ hours booked

On a vehicle we are tuning, we perfer to have a wideband 02 sensor bung readily available for the 02 sensor. Our sniffer is pretty accurate, but if we can get it in the exhaust system, the better.

Rate is $180/hr for LSE tuning but if you book 2 or more hrs you get $30 off an hr. Most cars would take 1.5-2hrs to get a perfect tune.

Contact them for more info.

Are they (DB and LSE) good tuners? Would it be worth it for a tuning session with them? Can they do DSM link?

I registered at dsmstyle.com like a month ago and my account still needs to be activated or some shit. Can anyone let the admin know that Thor06 is trying to use the forum but cant because of this activation list?

Yes they are both good tuners. They can tune your car using anything under the sun. S-AFC, MAFT, DSMLink, AEM, Haltech, etc...

Just got back from DB performance! Place will be badass once they get it all opened up! Talked to Shane and he said he ran his car with AFC, DSM link and AEM so that should answer your question Thor. I think i will be taking my car out of storage in a few weeks and bringing it to them, Shane seems to know what he is talking about.

Yeah Kristy is not my gf, infact I havent seen her in awhile think she might be in treatment again :grinno: .

Open house at LSE? sounds good to me, Ill go for sure :)

No its not. LSE just opened a year ago. The site has been around for 3 years.

The site is owned and run by Chris Scheidecker (AKA Scheides). The member "DSMStyle" use to own it, then sold it to Chris recently. LSE is just a vendor sponsor.
