97 Max error codes 1005 and 0304

I always fill up my maxima at the same gas station and this time I needed gas and filled up at a different one. Shortly after (next day), my check engine light came on. I got 2 error codes from the self diagnostic 1005 and 0304.
1005 = EGRC Solenoid valve
0304 = Knock Sensor
I think that this is what is was as it spat out 4 short, 10 long, 5 short, and 3 long and then repeated.
I am just wondering if the different gas and different grade could have caused this. The car seems to run just fine and I haven't noticed any performance issues. Also wondering if I should just clear the codes and see if they return.

Drive tank 'empty', get good gas fillup, clear ECU. Autozone does clear for free; however, their diagnosis may be funny~

Ppl tell this is a nice info tool. Easy to install, always realtime info. Fits -95 Maximas or later, all OBD-II. Helps you to be on top of rep air$hop swapping games, dont lose it but use it in your next car... I have no experience, but I will if/when I own a OBD-II -vehicle.
