question about gm's 5.7 lt1 1993

i was told the 350 has a timing belt and needs to be replaced through all my years i have owned a lot of 350's and never had a timing belt always gears or gears and a chain could this 5.7 350 lt1 have a timing belt or am i just getting a line? i can be reached at [email protected] with an ansewer thanks

they have a timming chain. no belt.
