Step one would be to obviously swap an LS series engine into the Camaro. But is it as easy as buying one of these exhaust systems for the camaro and sounding like that? The camaro exhaust has a single muffler. Is it because of the corvette's true dual design that the car sounds like that?
Also,
In the pace car, did that high rev sound normal or was it modified?

you mean how the 350 TPI/TBI sounds? Here's a clip of the 350(modified) with the spintech exhaust-->

I'm thinking that those corvettes are mostly stock(don't know this for sure) and when I modify them, they'll sound a lot better.
err, not that i'm modifying them personally, I mean the LS series

Waht does everyone think about that exhaust mp3?
I think it could be a little deeper and less throaty....in other words go with flowtech.

So many exhausts, one for each person's preferences
bag91 do you have an exhaust clip of your flowtech?
by having dual mufflers are you saying...it's quieter? that has to be what you're saying, because aside from the exhaust, the C5 has the same engine as the camaro and firebird.

Why would you want to sound like a vette?? 90% of vette owners anyway are either going thru midlife crisis or a complete and utter douchebag... plus camaros are, as some random kid once randomly said to me, "twice as cool as a vette and half the price as a vette"
Quicksilver it's not just the dual mufflers but the dual exhaust that gives it a different tone.

No......I dont....
It all depends on you though, everyones preferance to sound is different.
Honestly its one of the best sounding Camaros I have ever heard, and I know sound. Here in Cali everythings loud, and sounds frekin awesome for the most part.
I set it up with a dump on one side and two 3.5 inch tips on the other almost like the slp exhaust setup. You do this on any third gen/ Camaro and itll sound sweet no matter what muffler, I got the flowtech because thats what it bragged for ....deepness.
I tried dual tips and it was a little higher pitched than I wanted, and there's third gen next to me has dumps on each side and its deep/loud until he gets to higher RPM's then it gets tingy. I wanted best of both worlds, and I got it and it sounds exactley how I wanted.
