Agreed. Right now, there's an underground group that drifts in my city. They hold events spread only by words because the Police here are very anal about this stuff. Last night I got pulled over for going 57 in a 50 zone :disappoin, so you can see how strict they can be, especially with people who enjoy their cars. But these underground drifters lol, they're actually down to earth, so were the auto enthusiasts before fast in the furious came out and eveyone tried adding everything to their cars. It was about who was faster, but now most kids realise that their cars can't keep up to speed with other cars on the road, so I'm going to assume that they'll just turn to drifting for an excuse that "it takes more skill to drift then to drag". Drifitng isn't that popular in Regina, and I hope it stays that way. I'm just afraid that I'll wake up with a bunch of Nissan 240SX's parked all the way down my street. Oh shit.. too late :nono:

I like drifting. It's exciting to watch and terrifying to pull off, but all I see is a new form of rice. :2cents:

I've seen a RSX drift one of the turns around here once. Pretty sweet, but scarey as hell when he's making a left turn and you're in the oncoming lane when the light is green. Yeah. There was one dude that would always make 180s in the middle of the street to race someone coming the oppsoite direction. He wasd driving a riced 4-door civic. He evetually totalled his car when he did it, stalled, and another car rear-ended him up the ass. He got raped.

It seriously can't get much worse. Everybody knows what drifting is these days. So kids go out and try it, but they only try it a few times then ya know what? Wreck. The 1st F&F's were easy to mimic, all you had to do was pretend to drive fast in a straight line. Drifting is a million times harder than that. So either these kids will fuck up their cars, or just give up after a while. Either way it can't get much worse than it is now.

Haha wow, Its one of those movies that everyone hates, but everyone will see. I agree with blackcrow, when I go see it im takin my winter beater! I know kids around here will try to do everything that they do in the movie, and Im going to laugh in their face when they crach mommy and daddys car into a light pole.

I'm sure the acting will be top notch!! (just like the other ones) But the driving looks pretty cool.

Noticed how the leading actor besdies that white dude, is a 17 year old rapper who is like 5 foot nothing? If there is no chewbacca in this movie I wont see it.

I look forward to seeing the movie. I also have both the other two. I dont see why so many people give them such a bad time. Its kinda like Vanilla Ice "Ice Ice Baby" everyone (or most everyone)liked it but now deny it.Anyway i will see the movie and i am sure i will have it in my collection.:2cents:

I also have both of the first ones. Shitty acting and not much better plotline, but good movies all together I think. Did you guys see them sideways all the way through that spiral on ramp dealy? The first F&F is actually what got me into switched from muscle cars to imports. I came into the import scene straight up RICER. MAN, I was retarded. As if the first two parts didn't have enough asian people, now this part will be with 80% and more asian people. Sorry, I just don't like them and I think their driving is the worst ever. I run away from them when I see one in a car and I beat everyone I see in a rice rocket. Maybe I just see too many of them here in north California in the bay area. I am telling you, this here is almost like living in China.
Anyways, I will see the movie but I don't have too many good expectations about it. Part 2 of the movie killed it for me kinda.

Do you guys actually think that drift all the way up the parking garage thingy was all on one try? or on a track? that would be messed up if that was real.

I'd have to say it's fake. But i'm not sure i'm not that familiar with driftin (or that car) and i don't know if you could keep up enough speed to do it all the way UP.

Meh, had to fake. The front and ass end was way too close to the barriers, plus it'd be hard ass fuck to carry a drift that tight and that long. Long drifts usually need momentum, weight-shift, and speed. You could probally drift down the spiral thingy going like 5-10mph, lol. So I'm not saying its impossible, just highly unlikely.

I'm not saying that Asians are the best drivers, but race certainly doesn't determine how skilled of a driver you are.

I'm sure most of you guys have never been to Asia.. Neither have I. But my brother has lived there for a couple years while in the military. From what he told me, The cars (and the things they do to them) are amazing. They have cars with engines and shit that the US will never see. The aftermarket products there are 3/4 cheaper than they are here. Just check out the Asian car show articles they have in the car magazines for an example. And the racing skillz in Japan are amazing as well. They make Dale Earnhart look like an amature. The import industry there is amazing!!!..Well there's my 2 cents
