She dies at idle

I'm needing a little help please. I have a 1992 Trooper v6 DOHC. Sometimes it dies at idle and coughs at around 4000rpm. Any ideas? Thanks

I had problems with my EGR valve. 2000 isuzu, put new one, clean the intake pipe since it was clogged and now works like a champ.
