Rodeo Hard Shell Spare Cover

I have a 99 Isuzu Rodeo. Currently it has the Ugly Vinyl cover on the Spare tire..

I am looking for a Hard Shell Cover for it like the ones that come on the New Toyota Rav-4...I have looked at local parts stores and Checked with JC Whitney and no luck...

If you know of a website or any other source for this type of Spare tire cover please post a link...Also Color does not matter I can have it re-painted.

When you're searching for that particular item, don't look for it listed underneith the Rodeo, cause you won't find one.

They never made the hard plastic type for the Rodeo; however, they did make one for the Trooper, and if you have the P245/70 R16 tires, you should be able to find one from a Trooper that will fit.

Otherwise, double check the spare tire measurements of the one's off the Rav-4 and see if it'll fit.

They're reasoning behind that, is the Rodeo was built for more of the off-road enthusiast, in which case the vinyl looks more rugged. And I have to be honest with you, I still have the vinyl cover off my spare tire (though it no longer fits, have bigger tires) but that thing had held up GREAT for the 7yrs it was on the truck.

you can use any tire cover. go to a junk yard. old conversion vans are notoriuos for having these types of covers. you may even find a rav4 tire cover that you can use. just fiberglass over the logo, sand and paint to match your truck.
