my new 99 eclipse

well guys i now i have a 99 eclipse!!!! (shhh don't tell nobodyt i did a conversion :lol: ) well my front bumper came in yesterday and i went and picked up my sides and back bumper today. pics tommrow!!!! its looks great!!!


also btw the e-bay bumper fits perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got the front bumper from e-bay fopr 119 shipped and i got the back bumper and side skirts from a firend for 100 bucks for both. i have no reverse liughts or fog lights tho...hopeing to get some soon. i painted all the bumpers and side skirts a flat black they look really good they go along with the car great.

what was the big change in the bumper between 96 and 99?

The 95-96 bumper is more like a smile haha. The 97-99 bumpers have that big opening in the front. Check out my car and then compare it to yours.

I saw it on ebay...maybe 2-3 months ago.

Who installed it? Looks like there are some fitment issues on the front bumper. maybe I'm wrong

there is fitment issues because my drive side fender i bent...i got pissed one day working on it and kicked the shit out of it. then i took it off to beat the dent back out and steped on it so its bent.


and as for the paint as soon as i get my turbo spoiler (next couple of weeks) and my new fenders im paiting it metalic grey. and im puting some 17" gunmetal rims. im geting a deal on them from work. $124 apiece and tiers are free :grinyes: . so id say in about 2 or 3 months the outside of my car shael be finished. then i start on the motor :sunglasse


oh and i know u guys are gana have something ricey to say but i also picked up all 4 blue underbody neons and transformer or w/e its called today. i've been thinking about it for a while and guy offerd them to me brand new for $35 so i couldnt refuse.

Just a side note, I know blue neons are illegal almost everywhere, so watch where you have them on. A kid I know that has some got a huge ticket for having them on in a parking lot and was showing everybody. It seems they arn't as strict with other colors though, just blue because they say only police vehicles are allowed to use blue.

yea i know. turns out after i got home and hooked them all up to see what they looked like at night hafe of them didnt work so i took them back.
