99 Accent Speed Sensor

A few years ago, I had the check engine lamp come on, and it was a code for the speed sensor. The car was still under warranty at the time, so the dealer looked at it. They said it was caused by a loose wire. That fixed the problem for a while, but not, intermittantly, the trouble is back. The lamp doesn't come on, but the tranny goes into safe mode, which is what also happened a few years ago. What wiring, and where could I look to correct this problem. Thanks

I'm not exactly sure.. but I believe that the sensor that your talking about is located on the top back of the tranny (the side with the fire wall) just give the wire a little wiggle and see if it moves around.. and then get back to me.
