Under Clean

This is the weekend that I will do my annual spring ritual.
I have modified a spray gun for my pressure washer. It's about 6" long. I will crawl under the truck and subject everything to 3500 psi. I put it on jack stands and pull the wheels. Wash the insides of those with a brush and pressure. Do the wheel wells...with particular attention to flushing all of the plastic overlayed metal.
Then I go under. I make sure that there is nothing left there when I'm done that Chevy didn't put there.
Before you laugh, last year I cleaned the gutter at the bottom of my driveway before I did this, and after the water had evaporated, I swept up 35 lbs. of "stuff" that was hitching a ride on my truck after a South Dakota winter.
Take a look at yours folks...it's the best (although dirtiest) preventative maintenence thing I do.
