Really, it's the quality of the mold that demands the time spent. You don't want to spend ages filing mold lines off the body for example. You want a kit that will give you great results with minimum effort, so in that it's snap tite, great. But that will mean strange looking gaps at contact points.
If you live with that, go for it.
Also, the model needs to be of something that inspires you. If the Impala does that, go for it.

well i was about to get it but the shop was fresh out of black paint and only had huge buckets of glue, so i am waiting till next week so they can get a shipment it. thanks for the input :alien2:

If you really want the kit then do it.
It would not be my choice as the finish and gaps etc are not the same as a "glue" model.
But with a bit of time you could make it into a really nice looking kit.

Try and get on with the brush glues, the sort that are very runny! They are very clean to use, and sand well. You sort of paint it over the two parts, join them together, and it melts the plastic inbetween.
I used to use tubes of glue and they are awful!
You will need something strong to hold major parts together like brake rotors onto hubs etc.
I use superglue for this, but apply it with a cocktail stick.
NEVER try to apply it from the tube!:eek:
