leaking roof

I bought a 2002 Explorer LE used in 2005. After a wet winter, water started to leak through the roof (the roof rack area, probably). The water dripps from the two front corners inside the car. I'm wondering what my best bet is. Will it be a corrosion problem that can still be covered under warranty? I understand that it is pretty expensive to just open the roof up to look at the problem. Thanks!

hello, I have an 02 explorer. My sun roof leaked also. There are two rubber hoses in the front corners of the sun roof. In my case the rubber hoses came lose. You will have to pull down the roof liner to be able to get at the rubber hoses. The seal that goes around the sun roof is only there to slow down the water, not keep it out. There is a tray under the sun roof and the water collects there and then goes out the rubber tubes. Hope this helps.
