I need to replace my driver side window regulater. Has anyone done this. Are there any tricks to this repair?

Tape the window up over the top of the door, so it doesn't fall when you take out the old regulator.
You're going to have to drill out the rivets; I just used short bolts to replace the rivets, making sure they weren't going to obstruct the window movement. The rivets are 1/4", so you can't use the normal small rivet gun from home depot, you need a big automotive gun (kind of looks like a bolt cutter).
And make sure you reroute all the power door lock wiring and bars to the original places, I forgot which way a bar went and had to redo the rivets.
