bad way to start. the member that answered you was probably you best chance, except for old master, to get help with you jimmy. i know your frustrated, and probably a little upset, cause your ride ain't working. most of us are just regular folks like you. we work on our jimmy's, go to work, come home, etc. there are a lot of active or previous 30+ years mechanics, and even they would ask what your dad did to get it to run, as that is a very important clue. most would need more details and/or symptoms to help. be patient, don't cuss out people trying to help, and think of the things dad did, what you tried, give good details, and you'll get good advice, or refereed to someone who can. there are 10-25 things i can think of right now that MAY be the problem, or one or more in combination.
be chilly, and good luck.
p.s. ya kinda asked for it misspelling College!!!

Probably low fuel pressure. The stuff you dad put in it was probably starting fluid down the intake. Starting fluid will always get it running if you've got spark.
Check your fuel pressure, can you hear the fuel pump running? Fuel delivery problems are common on 4.3's, so you may just be the most recent in a long line.
Let us know what you find. Remember Mark Twain said he had no respect for a man who had only one way to spell a word.
see ya
