Water in center console

Anybody else had the problem of water in the center console of their Jeep Cherokee. I have a 1996 Cherokee Country (4.0, 4x4) and I have noticed that there are times when I come into the Jeep and there is water in two main locations: 1.) tray right below the shifter. 2.) the same area the emergency brake handle is.
Does anybody else experience this problem. There is no other water/moisture anywhere else. It may be from condensation. The roof is not leaking or anything else. I know that there is a heat duct that goes to the back of the console. Could that be it as it is providing heat to that outlet that it creates the condensation? Any suggestions? Fixes? Insulation needed?
This is my first time with it during the winter. I got it in August 2005 but did not notice the water until around the fall (about time when I would start using the heater).
