hi, my cars gonna be turbo'd pretty soon with a custom kit that i'm making, similar to a homemadeturbo.com kit. i was just wondering, what kind of fuel pump should i get, a walbro 255lph pump or a walbro 255lph high pressure pump? this is going to be an in tank pump. also one more question, since i will have the pump on my car before the turbo kit on the car, can i run the pump, or will it cause problems, like making the car run really rich. any help would be great, thanks.

Personally, as the owner of a turbo-d 99 Civic Ex, I wouldn't even install an inline fuel pump or aftermarket performance pump ulsess I were going to push some serious air pressure (probably 10psi+). I'm running 9psi right now on a daily driver with the Greddy 15G kit. I've adapted the "Blue Box" to my ride and haven't had one problem. If you want to make a custom turbo kit, you might want to look at the Apex'i AVC-R or something like it to act as a boost controller and also control your injector pulse, keeping you from running lean and popping the motor or melting a piston. There are several routes you can take, I just suggest doing a little homework before you delve into investing your cash into a kit that wasn't meant for your ride/motor. Happy boosting!!
