Why the F#$% wuold you do this?

I stopped to get my gas tank filled today, the total came to $33, so I hand the attendant (I'm in NJ) a $25 gift card I had for the station and a $10 bill. He takes it, goes over the the little booth with the cash register in it, and I patiently wait for my $2 change. The man comes back, hands me the card and a reciept. For a second or two I was wondering where my change was. I read the recipt, AND THERE'S $2 LEFT ON THE CARD!

I know this is just some stupid little thing, but for the love of God, could you NOT be a moron, be useful, and give me the $2 dollars in cash?!?:banghead:

Where I used to work we couldn't give change in cash back when a gift card was used even if we wanted to. It was stupid, I know..

I know it's gay. This opne local gas station will give cash for their gift certificates. Then again their gift certificates are peices of printed paper.

Simple solution:
Buy $2 of gas tomorrow. Draw a middle finger on the front of the card. Use different gas station in future.

i guess he assumed you wanted cash first.... I would have done the gift card first, but thats just the way how I think. reminds me of yesterday, I had an older couple buying groceries, after I process their check, he starts getting pissed because he wanted to use he foodstamps. He actually started yelling at me. SORRY I CANNOT READ YOUR F**ING MIND , YOU ASSHAT. Well, after waiting for 5 minutes for a manager just to show up, voiding the check, refunding the entire order, re-ringing it up, processing foodstamps, re-processing the check. I was ready to walk out the door and never go back.
