'96 Regal Radiator Change

When I cranked my car this morning, the low coolant light came on & my radiator had apparantly dumped everything. Not sure why......the car has not been running hot and I hadn't noticed any problems.
Anyway, I am going to attempt to change the radiator myself. Is there anything I should know or any helpful suggestions anyone can offer?
