Hey quick question is it ok to buy an fc3s rx-7 88 - 90 model turbo and remove the turbo + piping and stuff to make it n/a it may sound like a total waste of time but it is hard to find an N/A rx-7 in australia and i dont want to import one if anyone can help me with this id appreciate it thanks.

Sure it's ok but you will notice a huge drop in performance unless you have some very nice intake work done but the midrange power still won't be there without the turbo.

no i dont mind the power drop, the reason i intend to remove the turbo is due to gay laws in australia that has ristricted performance cars and vehicle engine modifications so this seems the easyest way then later when i get off my p plates i can just reinstall the turbo etc. id rather leave it on but yeh doesnt matter ill be able to break myself into the rotary before i go for the performance.

sounds like the law applies to how the car is stock, and if its turbo stock then...
actually people have seen gains with the 4 port motor (n/a), but that was with porting
