Shifting Problems While Towing

I have a 94 Z71 350 auto that shifts good when not towing. The probvlem is when towing my Travel trailer the trans is shifting in and out of 4th gear to 3rd. Once in a while it will go into Lockup. Ijust changed fluid and filter and shifts normal without Towing. Iam not sure if a shift kit will help with this or if this is something iam stuck with.

I am not going to tell you that you can't pull in overdrive. But if you do, I hope you are putting away the money you are saving to buy a new trans.
I pull my 17 ft. boat in OD.(when I am on the hwy.) But my Father-in-laws party barge gets 3rd. You may be better off in 3rd then in OD.

If all else fails. Read instructions in the owners manual.
It says no towing in overdrive. :grinyes: :lol:

Keep towing in O/D and your tranny won't shift good period. RTFM :rofl:
