93'xr-7 dash lights out

hey,i just bought this carand one of the biggest problems to solve is the dash lights dont work,the high beam,turn signals,and dummy lights work.oh yea the radio display work if the headlight switch is off buy soon as you pull the switch IT goes out.but radio and gauges work.is it in the radio?replaced hdlight switch and relay. just can't find it.:banghead:

Pull the plug on the radio and see what happens, maybe someone wired it wrong. Have you checked all the fuses. Typically power comes from the headlight switch and goes to a fuse and then back the the cluster illumination.
