I have a 91 Pontiac Grand am 2.3 L Quad 4 that won't start. My husband was driving to work one day (30 min drive) and went to stop at an intersection and the car just died and never would start again. For starters a lot of things have been replaced in this car in the last year including: main bearings and rods, torque converter, torque converter clutch solenoid, oil pump, oil sending unit, rack-n-pinion, spark plugs, boots, fuel filter, coil packs(2), alternator, and the battery. I have checked the fuel pump and it is working. I have checked the timig chain and sprockets all seems to be in order. I don't have any clue how to check to see if I'm getting any spark because there are no wires. If anyone can help figure out what is wrong, I'd appreciate it very much. Thank you!

Pull the coil packs and ignition module, have them tested at autozone. Sounds like either one is bad, probably the module as they get very hot given the location of the part.
