first, find a place to host your pic on the internet so it will show in your sig. second, does it click or make any noise(fuel pump priming) when you try and start it?

when it has that power the fuel pump does prime but when i turn the key the rest of the way it clicks and the volts drop to zero

cant be the battery because she tried jumping it and it wouldnt start. Unless she jumped it wrong....which of course is unlikely... :)

No most of the time it stayed at zero but once or twice it had the power to start but it would just click when i tried to start it then drop back to zero and would stay there:banghead:

i think i agree wit Luos. the battery might be low on its electrolyte. If so, jumping wont do a dayum thing and u need a new one. when was the battery bought?

do this, the car you are jumping it from, take the battery out of it real quick and bolt it up to yours and see if it is your battery or not.
Mr. Luos

Remove battery.
Take it to a local auto parts place. AutoZone/Checker/etc.
Have them test it.

If you have a multimeter check to see if the battery has 12 volts. If it does then check to see if you can get 12 volts from the battery's + terminal to the engine block - . If there is 12 volts all around then you could still have a bad battery cable that is not getting enough amps to start. You can check that if the multimeter has a setting for closed and open circuits.

Well then, she can keep trying to figure out why her battery is dead.
Either that...there is suddenly a serious ground issue. But I doubt that.
Can't normally jump a completely dead battery.
Dead battery won't hold a charge. This sounds exactly like the problem with the T/A after sitting for a couple months. No charge....even after charging it. Would have enough power to run interior lights for a few...even turn the car over a little. But it was turning over too slow to start.

i'm gonna go ahead and take it to autozone tomorrow
Mr. Luos

Do you have a charger you can put on it overnight?
If so, try that. See if that helps.
If not...good luck with it tomorrow.

the cables could be corroded within the insulation, it happened to me. just don't wanna see you buy a new battery and it still not work.
