well i was headed home from town and i see my friend a little ways back so i slowed down to 45 he was catching up to me i nailed it went a flying hit about 80 passed a car then slowed back down to like 60 because he got stuck behind the car he passed well i think when he passed he floored it and i was letting him catch up a little and i waited to long to go and he just creeped on by when we was doing like 100. i want to cry. first loss ever. AND IT WAS TO A V6!! he has a like 94 with some mods.

ouch....yep....just the reason im goin ls1. I have beat a little supercharged mini cooper at ~100+. breather mods like the slp runners really do give a little bump on the top end for tpi motors. Not much but a little. The guy probably was just in the right gear at the right time which can make all the difference.

Tpi do have the famed superman torque. That what i plan to do when i race my buddies. But when the charger and other supporting mods go into to play...

It is all stock with k&n air filters. 305 tpi 700r-4 2.73 limited slip rear 16 inch iroc rims and t-tops . i will only be driving it for a few more weeks because i am buying a 1999 grand prix gt 3800 4door silver with heated leather and sunroof with new yokohamas on it. getting it for $3000. not bad for a everyday driver while i am going to college and tearing down and rebuilding my iroc. cant wait to get started on it. i think that i am going to give it pretty much a complete resto. And new every thing except interior. 400 smallblock not sure on what trans or rearend gears yet but will be gunmetal grey with ss hood lowered 1 inch a.r.e 15x7 thorq thurst d in front and 15x9 or posssibly 10in the rear it will be righteous and kickass in my opinion

Gotta love the 305's. You did for being basically stock. Our cars hit that invisible wall at about 90mph. But, they can be waken up with a few mods. I know.
