Golf MK3 Air Filter/Intake????

Hi i have a 93 golf mk3 GL 1.8 Automatic and i would like like to put an air filter on to give me a little bit more power.
Which one would be best?
People are telling me the 57i K&N would be ok.

Look on ebay motors, do a search for Golf or Cabrio. I have seen some really good looking cold air intakes. One is item number 8050191180 and another is 8048320081
