I was thinking of getting that b&m mega shifter kit for my 92 rs, but im not sure if it will work with it, i have the 305 tbi with an automatic, not sure what the tranny is called, but will it work with that kit?
Also, what exactly are the advantages of getting it, im not like most people that spend $200 just for looks, im not sure exactly what the advantages are of having one are other then the looks right now, anyone have any input?
Here is the one i was going to get in any case:

the tranny is called a 700r4, and since it is a auto i would not get it, it will probly not do any thing except for looks.

I just installed one in my car. 90% done. The only problem i'm right now is getting the back-up lights to work and the car currently starts in all gears. I wired it wrong obviously. It's definitely not a direct bolt in as it may seem. Takes some time and alittle finesse. You can definitely beat the hell out of it though. It's very tough. If you were to get tranny rebuilt, had shiff kit and stall, it would be very badass indeed.

I plan on getting it rebuilt shortly after i rack up a grand, needs it though second is slipping pretty bad, but gets me around.
Does it come with directions and stuff on wireing? I have plenty of time on my hands these days (working 3rd shift) to sit in the car and mess around with it.

^lol
Does it come with some sort of book to tell you how to wire it or do you just pretty much have to guess from how the old one was wired
