Violent jerking and vibes

my 96 AX-15 has had intermittent violent jerking on the highway when I hit the gas cruising in 5th. This has happend a few times over the past 15,000 miles. The past 2 days it has done it a few times and it is so bad that it jerks the whole drivetrain

I also have been feeling intermittent vibes through the trans tunnel area as well. I assume that this could be a bad trans mount? U joints seems fine all around

Please help....

Sounds like Death Wobble.

Mine does the same thing, between 45 - 55 mph it will shake so bad , it was scary the first time, now I just learned to live with it until i replace it.
