Hi folks,

It's been a while since I've posted one of my projects but this one took me 5 months to build it the way I had it in my mind.
I've build 3 TypeII busses so it was time for something different :icon16:

It's an old Revell box wich costed me about 15Euro's.
Boxart:

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10048/Type%20III%20002%20copy.jpg

It started as a simple build with some small changes but it turned out the other way.
These are the changes:
- lowered
- 18" OZ rims
- brakediscs from Subaru Imprezza
- all seats from Toyota Estima
- mirrors from Toyota Estima
- xrta fire extinguisher
- sporty steeringwheel with Wölfsburglogo
- ICE-install
- added battery & reservoir in engineroom
- printed "T-styler" decal

Let the pic's do the talking:

Now that is C :sunglasse :sunglasse L !

I've had that kit ever since it first came out-molded in rootbeer brown metallic for the Magnum PI TV show. Yours is the first version I've ever seen built that looked this cool. Usually people build the camper.

Nice work!

Hi,

looks cool with white and black, rather low  .

What disturbs me a little is the flat inner door panels (armrest, door-opener, ...), but maybe you wanted clean panels :dunno: . Further I would softly darken the panel-lines, but not black, this might be a too hard contrast and hey, shouldn´t there be a nice tube at the exhaust ;) ?

Well, the fit was.........AMAZING!! I've never seen a Revell kit with that quality. For a moment I thought it was a Tamiya kit :icon16:

.... Usually people build the camper.

Nice work!

I think there's a camper version from Revell also (with the Westfalia tent)

What do you exactly mean with the "flat inner door panels"?

Panel lines are not my thing. I have a love-hate relation with them.
Sometimes I like them an a model, sometimes not. Don't know why :icon16:

Throw that Supra in the closet and start your bus!! :iceslolan

You should have told me that you wanted one Chad!!
There was one at the show in Jabbeke!! :banghead:
Thx for sending the kits!! :worshippy
(I'm bussy with the Karmann...... )

I think Revell has re-boxed this kit a few years ago. They have a polizei-version(german police) and a UN-version.

To everyone else: Thx for all those positive comments!! It means a lot.
And now back to my Audi 80!!
