1968 Camaro

Thinking of buying a 1968 Camaro no engine or tranny, a little of cancer in the quarter panel for about $2500. Is this a good deal or should i pass. I am going to sell my 2001 SS, any takers price is negotiable, kbb price.

Ohh man.. I wouldnt sell your 01 SS and take an old one that more than likely needs alot of work.. especially since you'll be carless.. make sure you think about this thoroughly.

I paid 7400 for mine. Yes I got a little lucky with it but just think about it.

sorry guys, i bought a G35 infiniti in November,2005. but i really want a classic camaro. The SS is my baby, but dont have room for three cars.

well....where is the cancer at just the quarter? did you look at the frame at all to see if its cracked or looked at the floor boards? do the doors shut good?

If you didn't live in LA, I'd almost take you up on the SS offer.

G35 byebye keep the SS and get the 68 depending on the condition, look at the trunk, floors cowl, how bad is the cancer on the quarters, etc, how complete is the car,is all the trim there, there are lots of things to cosider including hw much work you are willing to do on the car.

Be supportive people. The g35 is a very nice car. Doesnt have the grunt of a camaro but its a nice and comfortable city car. Talk to korndogg. That car will probably be the biggest money pit that you will ever own but it will be the most rewarding at the same time. I say go for it if the rust is just in the quarterpanel and the body is structurally sound.
