A couple '96 questions.....

These may seem like stupid questions, if so.....sorry.

I bought my truck ('96 4cyl 2.3L 5speed) about a month ago, and the gas gauge is busted. Not a big huge deal. I was just wondering how big the tank was on it? I refuse to let it run out of gas, I ran out with my old truck constantly....oh the memories.

Also, I need at least one new break line, I haven't looked at it yet because it's dark out. I was curious as to how hard it would be to run new brake lines. I am fairly new at this, but have heard that it's not too difficult.....I just don't want to get in over my head.

Thanks in advance.

I've dropped a gas tank on my S-I-L's 94. I think its 12 gal.

If you later decide you want to remove it: Make sure you have it empty, it's heavy, clumsy work. I was never able to reuse the old stiff filler neck hose assembly ... couldn't get it in place. A new one ($80) went right in>
