Flowmaster

I recently got a Flowmaster muffler and a Magnaflow tip on it. $100 total cost. :smoker: I just wanted to know what your opinion is Flowmaster stuff. It has a nice tone to it, but it's not very loud. I would have loved to have gotten a full cat-back that would scream, but its a lil late now.

The flowmaster is for domestic cars like ford and dodge, putting it on a honda is not that good. My sister has the the flowmaster on here mx-6, which works real well since Mazda is Ford.

I highly think that Flowmaster's will not work properly on Honda's as previously stated. You should look into exhausts that are more in tuned with your engines needs.

Unless your really doing some major engine work, an expensive exaust system aint gunna do that much. Trust me. The only real difference is in sound. I persoanlly have a catback without the resonator and i love the sound, as for an noticeable increase in horsepower, none.

I didn't want to spend the $$$ for a catback, and my freind picked up a Magnaflow for his Protege and I didn't like the way it sounded. It barley made any noice at low rpm's, and when the rpm's rise it has a weak buzz sound. I wasn't lookin for any performace, I just wanted some noise to drown out the hideous sound of my engine.:rolleyes: I got a magnaflow tip on it, so it doesn't look that domesticated.

since it's the sound that you want. It's pretty much the same, the good exhaust will give you a better tone of sound then a lower model brand.

just get some thicker exhaust piping to go with the new muff, and you'll get a nice sound.

Anyone had any experience with the american thunder rear exhaust section from flowmaster. It's pretty new and I can't find much info on it. I was thinkin of gettin it since it's cheaper and i haven't done enough mods to warrant a full cat back system.
