bumper prob

I got my civic used, and it's apparent that it was in a rear end collision. As the trunk is just slightly brighter(newer) than the rest of the car(it's white btw). The bumper had some cracks in it that were noticeable when you were looking. One day I was at the car wash tryin to get some caked on mud off the bumper when the pressure washer started to chip off my bumper! It has been like that for a while now. The bumper is white and there is a huge splotch of black showing, and its cracked in various places. So how do I fix it? Can I just put some body filler, like Bondo over it, smooth it, sand it, primer it, and paint it? I also got some rear fender rust. It's just surface rust, but its an eye sore. I got some emery cloth and some rust-oleum auto spray primer(lt. grey) to take care of it. If I ever get around to doing any of this I'll need to paint it the same color, so will Honda sell me paint to match? If I get the paint from them will it match? 10 years has to fade the color somewhat right?

I got so many problems its not even funny! Can anyone give me instructions on how to fix any of these? Or should I spend my life savings on an evo kit, shave the handles, and moldings, and do a total repaint on a car that doesn't run right?:rocket:

btw Can you give me a close estimate on how much it would cost to do everything in the second paragraph?

Any help at all will help,,, as for now I'm gonna go scrape my face across the pavement!

If you get your color code from your car you should be able to get the same color in a spray can from Honda.

About the second paragraph (evo kit, shave the handles, and moldings, and do a total repaint) I'm guessing about $4000.
Shave handles/moldings-$2,500
Paint job-$1,000
Evo kit-not sure, $600-1,000

If I get the color code and get the matching paint, do you think it will be any different? I mean my car has to be faded somewhat right? Damn, why is it so much to shave everything? Must be some tricky shit!

Must be some tricky shit! Yes, the newer paint will look newer than the rest of the car, but it should look better than it does now with the problems it has. My friend got his handles shaved and it was $500 per door, you have a 4 door, that's $2,000. That includes the door poppers and actuaters and everything. So that's why I guess about $2.5k for your handles/moldings being shaved. You might be able to find it a little bit cheaper, but you're looking at $1500-$2500 for shaving everything.
