Correction about Diablo GT-R

i found in these pages that Lambo build 40 cars of Diablo GT-R

but actully Lambo made only 30 cars, u can check this "18/30" on this Diablo GT-R from the attached pic

you're right ... and wrong, in fact the number of complete cars that were built was 32 if I remember correctly, but only 30 were used for the GTR Championship, the two other cars were merely test units.

Note however that 40 chassis were foreseen for the GTR production run, this was done to cope with possible total loss accidents during the season, so they could rebuild the car for the following race.

So the number 30 is correct, since only 30 cars were entered into the GTR championship, but 32 were actually built and 40 chassisnumbers were reserved.

I will however change the statement on the site to reflect this 'gray area' about the total number of GTR's available.

yea 30 is correct.
but i always thaught there have been 3 prototypes... well doesn´t matter.
