3057 problem

acorrding to the wal-mart book and computer my 95 takes a 3057 light bulb, problem is the socket is a regular barrel socket not the blade socket that the 3057 is, i did find that a 2057 worked and seems to be the same brilliants, my quesyion is, might there be something worng with my 95 lesabre or is the book just wrong, i also checked 94 called for same buld 3057 so does anyone have any ideas???:banghead: :screwy: :shakehead

what bulb is in question?

it was the right right rear tail light. book calls for 3057, but 3057 will not fit, the receptical on the car has a barrel type connection not a blade like th ebook calls for.:screwy:

is it a tailight bulb or a 2 stage brake light bulb or something else? the burnt out one should say what it's number is.

I have never heard of a 3057 "tail light bulb"! I would say that the book is wrong. If they use Wal Mart employees to enter data, that would be easy to understand.:evillol:

look in the owners manual, there should be a section near the back called capacities and specifications which will tell you the bulb numbers.
