This is the JDM forum, so heres an unusual, rare, and FAST JDM honda I saw today.
I just wish I had my Digi cam in the truck.
I pulled up to a shop and sitting outside was an Integra with a 4WD badge on the back. Infact so far Iv seen 4wd versions of 4dr Civics, 4dr Integras, Accords, Oddseys and Orthias (like an Accord wagon but smaller).
So thier not that uncommon, except that this was a 2dr.
I looked unded the back, and sure enough there was a rear diff and axles.
Cool I thought, but I bet like the more common 4WD 4drs its only got a B18b in the frount.
But no, a look at the dash showed an 8,000rpm redline on the tach.
ohhhh yeah!
2dr, 4WD 180hp Integra!!!

I didn't know that Honda made any AWD cars. I would really appreciate something like that, because I've never even heard of it. I wonder why they don't use a platform like that in WRC. AWD Civics, Integras, and Accords? Is this just another thing to add to the list of things that are neglected to be sold stateside?

Yip add it to the list. Infact I doubt it was ever sold outside Japan, as the car I saw was deffinitly an import.
But all the Japanese manufactors have all sorts of weird low production models to try and squeeze every last sale they can from the Market.
And they try everysingle gimick and trick they can to get it.
You name it, and its probobly been done. :D

LOL :lol2:
It had a personalisd plate, but I cant remember what it was.
and yes it was a manual. :D
It was parked there two days in a row, so I think it might belong to someone who lives above the shop.
If its still there on tuesday Ill make some inquiries for you.
But it looked totaly standard, right down to the factory wheels.

Well I shouldn't say that I hadn't seen any 4WD Hondas. I totally discounted the 4th gen Civic Wagons that were 4WD. I recall growing up my family had actually had one, and a guy I know has one currently that he's used in some novice rally racing in Northern Michigan. He stripped it down and swapped in a ZCmotor. I asked him about some custom work about changing chassis so it would be a Hatch instead of the wagon, but it's too much work from what I heard.
