Program Keys 1997 Mark VIII

I have purchased new keys for my 1997 Mark VIII but do not have an owners manual and cannot not program the keys. The advise given to me by the dealership when they cut the keys does not work. Can anyone out there help me please?

1st you need at least one old key to reprogram it by yourself. Do you have one I think maybe even need two. If you have none it cannot be done by yourself. Let me know
