Hah, so says the maker of the vid at least. Personally, I think the guy who made the video is an idiot for thinking no American cars/drivers are good in the turns. Just because one amature wrecks his car doesnt mean there arent other out with with crazy talent. My buddy was telling me that an American driver just won a big drift competition on Japan with a new Mustang as well. Although I don't know how accurate his info is.
The reason I posted this is because the content in this video is just awesome.

Yeah, I agree... they show one tool in a Vette wreck, and then back it up with all professional race drivers from WRC, D1GP, JGTC (BMI footage) and the Stig from Top Gear.
Real fair.
But, good video nonetheless.

yes, that is why the new Z06 was matching imes of turbo 911's and 550's of a 50mile test track in germany...right??
good footage, cept the last bit, because we all know running over the curbs and upsetitng hte suspension is the fast way through the turns.

50 mile test track in Germany?
You must be talking about Nurburgring Nordschlief... which is 12.89 miles long.

sorry, yeah, they did so many laps in ~50min which was equvilent to what Turbo 911's where doing
We saw it in electronics/tech last year. We calculated the average speed to be just over 133mph if i remember correctly. They where having issues with the brakes fading because the duct ment to cool the breaks originally wasnt flowing enoug air and they where trying to design one with minimal drag added. Ended up using 3" PVC elbow, lmao.
I think the show was on discovery or the science channel. Which ever it was that was a bad ass episode.

Home Depot 3" Schedule 40 PVC elbow.. what... $5 with tax at most?
I bet if you try to buy that part through a Chevy dealership it'll be $89.99.
