Well on my way to work this morning i see a bright red z28 cutting through traffic and trying to catch up to me, well he does and he starts revving his engine and me and i didn't want to race because i was low on gas, well he kept fucking with me well at the next light we went at it and i took him all the way up to 80 then i just backed down. well he tells me to pull over and we start talking and he belongs to a car club called strictly muscle, well he asked me to join so i am, he said there's about 25 cars in it right now. so i cant wait until this weekend, there going to go cruising will all the members.

A. streetracing :nono:

B. certainly hope your're not meeting up with a bunch people in an unfamiliar, non public area, sounds like a possible set up to me, why not find out what a car can do before you jack it and race it? bye bye LT1 :sadwavey:

A. I know street racing is bad, but the street we raced was long and empty on both sides, it was just trees for about 2 miles.

B. I aint going to get caught slipping like that. It's going to be public, were suppose to meet at this park and roll from there to hollywood or sunset.

Eh, trees are okay huh, ever see a picture of car wrapped around or sheered in half after hitting one?

I'm not trying to be a preacher here, but if you guys really feel the need to brag unsanctioned racing why not do it in the racing forum.

Yeah i've seen cars wrapped around a tree before it aint a pretty site, but i don't fear death i almost died once and i know when it's my time to go it's time. As long as i don't hurt anyone else it's fine.

i agree, racing is wrong, but atleast be careful if you do, race on the interstate if anything if you do, the lanes are wider and the roads are usually better maintained, and there arent children in the streets, etc....i've seen some pretty fucked up wrecks and a lot of innocent mothers and their babies dead because of people who thought they wouldn't hurt anyone else.

This is my last post in this thread because as a parent of 2 boys who are not too far off from driving someday I find the issue appauling and morally ignorant. My kids already know what a drag strip is and why it's there and I will have no issues going with them setting their cars up to watch them and cheer them on settling their issues with someone or probably between themselves 99.9% of the time. and if I found out they ever race on the street man I will bury my foot so far in their ass Saddam Hussein's nose will bleed.

And an interstate? Only advantage point I can see there versus a rural tree lined road is a more frequent chance somebody might some along with a shovel to clean up the mess.

i am in no way saying street racing is okay, but for a fact the lanes are wider which is safer for everyone and there aren't pedestrians as frequent as in a city or whatever...people aren't going to listen no matter what you tell them, i've learned that, you know that...just some friendly advice to be "safer", not safe in any way what so ever.

HAHAAAAAAA!!!! Good one. THAT is discipline fellas. Gotta admit, I'm with you Dylan. I've had WAY too many close calls just minding my own business. I'll give a little blast here and there, but racing around here is not a good idea.
