Is this a question?

It's entirely up to you. If you know cars, you can easily install one...if you don't... just have a shop do it. You save money by doing it yourself.

make sure you get a turbo off a 18wheeler, I hear those work great. It won't fit right at first, but bang it hard with a hammer until it matches the manifold. Don't worry about fuel mods, you'll be fine.

If someone is dumb enough to actually try what I posted, then they deserve the results. If you have a problem with it, tough luck.

Why cant we all just get along?

The point is man, use the search button. This question has been asked MANY times. If you have to ask if you can put in a turbo and how much it costs, you probably shouldnt. Chances are if you dont already know if you can or how much it costs, you wont be able to do it yourself and taking it to a shop which will totally ass rape you on cost. I used to run into this all the time when I frequented the Cavalier forum. Most people that buy cheap NT cars dont realize why they bought them... because they are cheap. Then they go and think they are ready to toss 3 grand into it. If you really want a turbo car, buy one and mod it. Just selling that one and buying a new one will be cheaper and much less of a headache. Turboing NT cars is not for people that dont know about cars or ones wanting a cheap car THEN wanting some speed... 98% of the turbo'd 420a's were people that knew what the hell they were doing.

You could always do what everybody else does when they are new (or should do, obviously it dosn't always happen), and read the FAQ before posting. Just a thought.
