hello I have an 88' pacifica and it has started to burn anti-freeze out the exhaust pipe as well as inside the engine compartment from behind the motor. All the wonderful signs of a blown head gasket but now water in the oil. i think it is my turbo personally but never torn into it. just curious about some options to replacing the turbo...

I think you can by them brand new. There are also rebuild kits for them. I put a new turbo in my '87 Daytona.

A Turbo when it goes will normally blow Oil Smoke out of the exhaust and some will also be seen in the intake side, If water is escaping out of the turvo it will usually be a line or the center housing has cracked but usually don't make it to the exhause pipe. That and the Turbo would be very noisy because the bearings are shot and the turbine blades will be hitting the housing.
Do a compression check of the engine, I'm banking it to be the head gasket went bad, that is a more commonly known failure on the Chrysler Turbo 4's.
