The Corvette Mako Shark

I just got this 1/25 kit by AMT ERTL.

Are all their products with panel lines this large?

I was wondering if anyone has built this before... something about the body strikes me as a little odd. Any comments on it?


I figure it'd need some improvements for

1. the molded-in windshield wipers
2. the poor fit between the main body and dashboard
3. the filled-in "wire wheels". Does anyone know where I can get better wire wheels for this car?
4. the missing grille at the 'mouth' area.
5. separate door handles
6. filling in and rescribing the panel lines?

is that the snapfast kit?

i suggest buying the revell 65 vette kit, and doing some superdetailing
