find a used SRT-4, they are pretty cheap, very fast, and you can easily make them way faster. Yeah yeah they are a Neon, but they are fast as shit.

the best for that money is a miata (that amount of money droped into it miata would rape an SRT4)
but of course you could always get a skyline.

Your comments dont make sense. You think you can find a Skyline for under 20K??? Maybe a very very old one. Perhaps you can find the motor for like 10K, but you will not find a decent Skyline for that money. And as for the Miata....I would rather be seen suckin dick than be seen driving that car. Life is too short to be seen driving a piece of shit like that. Granted the SRT isnt much better, but it is NOT a miata. Sorry

its very posable to find a used R32 for under 15k.

19k. I would say find a Nissan 240sx. Put a black top SR20DET S-13 Style engine and build it from there. Hell if you want to even go better than that get the 240sx (probably could find a nice S-14 style for around 3-6k) and then drop the RB26DETT from the Nissan Skyline in it (12k for motor and installation) and then have something quick as hell and extremly easy to mod

iirc the blacktop is the s14 engine the s15 was the best blacktop (unsure on the name) and all s13's came w/ a redtop in japan
screw that though, if your getting a 240 get a CA18 in it, cheaper, iron block, and it isn't an SR if you ever get in an SR/KA battle... ugh

hard to say, its easier to do bolt ons instead of stock parts when you swap in an engine like that, so from anywhere like 200whp (few bolt ons) to 400whp (bigger turbo and EVERYTHING):grinyes:

S-13 came in black top and red top. The S-13 Blacktop is a new verision. S-15 is the most powerful from the factory, however it is hard to mod due to the VTC. Plus the 6 speed tranny is not as strong as the 5-speed tranny that goes with the S13. The S13 Blacktop is the best way to go in my opinion if you are going to do an SR20.
As far as getting a Skyline from Motorex good luck. Right now they have 34 skylines that have been paid for that they can't even finish because they are under investagation. If your getting a skyline it's going to be one that is already in the country and good luck finding someone that is going to let one go for 19k

those are people who don't know what they're taking about...take a ride in a h22 hb vs a b18c hb and you're more apt to go with the h22...but bottom clearance issues and engine weight issue have people up in arms...those are minor issuse...it's just that it take more time and $$$ to swap in a h22 that it does a b series motor

well i've always seen the h-series motors as dead end motors since... well there is so much more you can do w/ a b-series motor, and the d-series motors are better choices cuz they are incredibly cheap!
the only reason people swap in the h22 for performance is b/c it is a prelude motor and they can brag about it, in reality any b-series motor will outclass it in modability and overall performance... i cant' say i've ever seen a fast h22 powered civic.... but those b-series swapped ones seem to be pretty fast
now the k-series... *drool* that is a motor

H22 is as cheap as a B16 swap...but it's putting it in where the price is higher...but H22 would beat a B18c5 in identical cars
but k series dominates both

h22 vs b18c5 would be a good race though, w/ the lsd and the weight advantage i think the b18 might be able to pull it out, but the h22 has a slight power advantage 195hp-200hp at the crank right? jdm h22 would be more like 220 though, i guess it would depend on which h22 you wanted to go with.
as far as prices go, it depends on where you shop, my friend bought a GSR swapped hatch (no title) for 2k , it also had 17" wheels, seats, random goodies. they had it swapped over in a day. you can find them for cheap, not that it is common, but it is doable.
tell you whut though, if i ever buy a honda, it'll be an ex and it'll have a turbo on it the day after it gets in my garage...forget the swap
no joke
how in the world did a honda debate get started in the mitsu forum?!!?!?
